What is excel?

Excel is a two-year generosity initiative designed to help Chapel Rock better accomplish its mission of leading people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ by connecting people to Jesus and one another. This is a season in which we are called to “take it to the next level” in the grace of giving. We believe that God has given Chapel Rock a calling and that He has provided for us abundantly in our congregation—in ways we may not even realize. This initiative is a chance to newly see the generosity of God in our lives as we step up in faith, responding to the call to be good stewards of all He has given us.

The summit we aim to reach is high—but not beyond a committed people depending on God. It will take all of us, and it will take prayer and sometimes sacrifice, as well as enthusiasm and hope. It will require us to leave behind comforts and fears, and blaze a trial to a new elevation. But we hope to realize the vision God has place on our hearts, to glorify Him and connect our congregation and our community to Him through love and sacrifice.

The Next LEvel

Over the next two years, we are directing our generosity into one fund—a single fund that includes operations, outreach, discipleship, missions, and growth. By increasing the level of generosity at Chapel Rock through this initiative, we hope to raise a total of $5.9 million.

For Our Community | $3.8M

Continued ministry to our children, students, and adults through ongoing and expanded ministries at Chapel Rock.

For Our World | $600,000

Make a difference in the nation and around the world through our generosity to missions efforts.

For Our Future | $1.5M

Needed facility repairs to our roof and parking lot, repurposing of existing space for our kids and student ministries, and reduction of our debt to better position us for growth and ministry/missions investments in the future.

Any additional dollars beyond our Excel goal of $5.9M will go toward further debt reduction.
