When is Sunday service?
We gather each week at 9:15 and 11 AM to worship God through music and declare what He has done and continues to do for us.
Where do I park?
Door 1 will lead you to the main Foyer and Worship Center. Families with children can park near and enter door 12 for immediate access to Family Ministry areas.
Where are you located?
We are located on the corner of West 21st Street and North Girls School Road.
What should I wear?
Just come as you are - be comfortable. On any given Sunday, you'll see some people dressed in sport coats or dresses, and others dressed in jeans or shorts ... so by all means, wear whatever you feel comfortable in.
WHAT TO EXPECT ABOUT SUNDAY SERVICES:
What should I expect on a Sunday visit?
When you visit you can expect a meaningful time of worship, for the Word of God to be exposed in a way that can be applied to your life, and the fellowship of others who have the common goal of lifting up the name of Jesus. There are opportunities for your children and teens in age graded areas of teaching and activities. You may want to stop by our café, Connection Corner, to grab something to drink and spend some time just visiting with others who have done the same. Overall, you can expect to head out challenged and lifted up.
What do you believe?
Here at Chapel Rock we believe that God is the One and Only true God, that the Bible is true, that God’s Spirit is alive and working in us to help us live life effectively, and that Jesus gave His life on the cross to give us the opportunity of eternal life in Heaven if we follow Him. Check out our Mission, Vision, and Beliefs page for more information.
How do you do communion?
The Bible’s teaching on the Lord’s Supper is found in 1 Corinthians 11:17–34 and promotes open participation for believers. All those who are believers in God through personal faith in Jesus Christ, His Son, are worthy to partake of the Lord’s Supper by virtue of the fact they have accepted the death of Christ as payment for their sins (see also Ephesians 1:6–7).

THE NEXT STEP:
You can visit our Next Step room on Sunday morning where you will be able to meet leaders and have a conversation about God’s work and the ministry. We would want you to visit again and listen to God’s Word being exposed and figure out where you are in relationship to Him. If you decide you want the life that only God can offer then we will be glad to lead you through scripture and help you see God’s plan for your life in Him. Learn how to take the Next Step here.
How do I get involved and serve?
Contact the office (247.9739) and talk with a staff member regarding your desire to serve. There are many opportunities for serving on Sunday and through the week. The staff person will help you to find your passion/desire and then try to connect you with an area where God can use you best. Involvement may go further with the joining of a Life Group or an ongoing service opportunity. Give us a call and we will help you evaluate your desire. Learn how to Serve here.
How do I become a member?
We like to see everyone take the Membership Class which is offered 5-6 times throughout the year. There you will find out what we believe and what ministry looks like at Chapel Rock. Then after attending the class you will come forward at invitation time on a Sunday and repeat your confession of faith in front of the congregation. From there you find a place to serve and follow Jesus. Learn how to become a Member here.
I'm interested in Baptism, what do I do now?
We find it helpful for you to have a conversation with a leader to confirm in your mind the biblical understanding of Baptism and what it means to your faith. You can speak with a staff member in the office during the week or talk to a leader at invitation time on Sunday. You may choose to have a conversation with one of our leaders in the Next Step Room after the service as well. After you have the conversation the leader will help you to take the next step in your becoming a fully devoted follower of Jesus.
