Loss of a Spouse / GriefShare Seminars

The death of a spouse brings a unique kind of pain. People who are widowed haven’t just lost a loved one, they have lost an entire lifestyle. The one-day Loss of a Spouse seminar offers practical advice from others who have been there, along with what to expect in your grief, how to cope with life without your spouse, and why it won’t always hurt this much. Chapel Rock will host Loss of a Spouse on Monday, February 1, at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. in room WC 112, and Sunday, February 7, at 9:15 and 11a.m. in FH 13.

GriefShare classes are for everyone, whether your bereavement experience is recent or not so recent. You will find encouragement, comfort, and help in grieving the death of a spouse, child, parent, sibling, other family member or friend. No matter what the cause of your loved one’s death, this is an opportunity to be around people who understand what you are feeling. GriefShare will be held on Mondays, February 15 – May 10, at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. in room WC 112.

To register, go to www.griefshare.org or contact Jane Rogers at 317-989-8547.
