CHAPEL ROCK BLOOD DRIVE—CORRECTION

Correction: The blood drive will be on Sunday, July 19, in Fellowship Hall. Appointments are available from 9 a.m. – 1:20 p.m. Register online here or call the Chapel Rock office, (317) 247-9739, and we can assist you in the process. Even during the pandemic, donating blood is safe. For additional information on precautions and protocols Versiti has instituted, review their information at : Versiti Blood Center.

LIFE CENTER'S BABY BOTTLES RETURN

If you picked up a Life Center's Baby Bottle in June, we are requesting those be returned by Friday, July 17. We will transport all Chapel Rock donations to the organization at that time. We thank those of you who have already returned your bottle(s) in support of Life Centers.

CHIP IN FOR CHAPELWOOD

Did you know this is our 12th annual school supply drive for Chapelwood Elementary? The drive kicks off today and shopping bags will be distributed following both services. You may also pick up bags during the work week at the Chapel Rock office. Office hours are Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.—4:30 p.m., and Friday 8 a.m.— Noon.  Inside each shopping bag will be a supply list for the students to help then begin the school year. You do not have to purchase every item on the list as it is quite extensive, so purchase what your budget allows. We ask that items purchased be returned to Chapel Rock each Sunday through July 26, or throughout the week during regular office hours. Place your donations in the designated bin in the DropZone.

WHAT EVERY CHRISTIAN SHOULD KNOW

Class will resume starting in July. Pastor Fred will pick up his study in the book of Proverbs. Stay tuned for a specific start date and place to meet. An announcement will be made soon for all Sunday classes and Life Groups. Join us as we dive into God's Word and seek His wisdom.

GRIEFSHARE SESSION TO BEGIN

Have you recently experienced loss of a relative or close friend? You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. A 13-week session of GriefShare begins July 20 and will go until October 19. The Monday morning session begins at 10 a.m. and gives you the option of meeting face-to-face or via an online Zoom meeting. The 6 p.m. evening session will only be offered as a face-to-face meeting. For more info or to register, go to www.griefshare.org or contact Jane Rogers at (317) 989-8547.

INTERNATIONAL FURNITURE MINISTRY

International students coming to the U.S. have just a few suitcases, not a lot of money, and they lack furniture for their apartments. They have no beds, couches, or tables. As Christians, we can take this opportunity to help these students physically and to show the love of Christ.

Furniture being collected, which two normal people are able to carry, include: study desks, loveseats, couches, beds (twin and double without head/footboards), chairs, bookshelves, dining tables, end tables, coffee tables, card tables and dressers. Household items needed are: pots, pans, utensils, plates, cups, mattress covers, linens (bedding, kitchen, and bath), pillows, desk lamps, and small kitchen appliances.

If you would like to donate to this ministry, please contact Missions Coordinator Rick Belcher at rbelcher@chapelrock.org or (317) 850-7936.
