Care Ministry

The Care Ministry at Chapel Rock is the opportunity for the church to reach out to those in our community who are struggling, both financially and spiritually, and seek to lead them into a whole life that can only be found in Jesus. The Care Team meets with those in need and examines their needs, helps give guidance, and then prays over and for them. The goal is to bring that individual or family closer to Jesus and to show them the whole life found in Him, not this world. Care Ministry meets the third Monday of each month at 6:00 pm to encourage others in their daily and spiritual walk, bringing wholeness to them.

General Information

  • One evening per month (the 3rd Monday evening) has been set aside to meet with you and have a conversation to understand your situation.  Please enter at door #3 on the south side of the building between 6:00 – 7:30 pm.

Please do not enter early as our team will be preparing.  No appointment is necessary.

If you cannot locate childcare during this time, we will have a children’s resource table set up to keep your younger children (12 years & younger) busy during the time you are meeting with our Care Ministry volunteers. Snacks and drinks will be available during your time with us.

Once you have been interviewed and have had an opportunity to explain your situation, the Care Ministry leadership will review your request later that week. Once a decision has been made, you will be contacted by letter, email, or phone as to the result of your request.

Please be aware we have limited financial resources and unfortunately may not be able to assist every household financially.
We do not have cash on hand during the meetings.  If it is determined you will receive financial assistance from Chapel Rock, it will be in the form of a check, made payable to the mortgage company, landlord, utility, etc.

  • • Driver’s license or government-issued identification card

    • For your request for financial assistance to be considered, you must bring with you any invoices, electric bill, gas bill, mortgage coupon, copy of your rental agreement, etc. We cannot process any payment without your “support” materials/paperwork.  We do have the capability of making copies on site.

    • Dates of birth for all persons living in your household.

    • You will be asked to list your monthly income total and expenses. Please bring any paperwork that will help substantiate your income / expenses.
