GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face the challenge of losing a loved one and move toward finding a new normal.  Each GriefShare session has three distinct elements:  a video seminar with experts, support group discussion, and personal study and reflection.

Wondering how you will survive the weeks surrounding Thanksgiving and Christmas? Are you dreading these holidays, knowing that everything has changed and that happy memories from past years can’t be recreated?  A GriefShare 'Surviving the Holidays' event lasts about two hours. There is a nominal $5 fee to cover the costs of a workbook.  There are two Sunday dates:  November 17 and December 8; 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM in room WC 110.  There are four Monday dates: November 11 & 18, and December 9 and 16, with two sessions each date, from 10 AM - 

12 PM & 6 - 8 PM in room WC 112. All of the above sessions are 'stand alone' sessions so you need to sign-up for just one session.

overeaters ANONYMoUS

Chapel Rock also hosts one meeting per week of Overeaters Anonymous. Overeaters Anonymous offers a program of recovery from compulsive eating using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of OA. Meetings and other tools provide a fellowship of experience, strength, and hope where members respect one another’s anonymity. OA charges no dues or fees; it is self-supporting through member contributions. 

The meeting listed below is located on the west lower level of the education wing. Please enter at door #10. Please park in designated parking spaces on the north side of the building. Due to Fire Marshal regulations, parking is not allowed on the curbs or next to the building. Access into the building at door #10 is wheelchair accessible. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the building, but smoking urns are available at the entrance to door #10.
