Growth Spurt
The theme for 2026 is: Christoformity. New Testament scholar, Scot McKnight uses this word to talk about a life that is “shaped like Jesus.“ Throughout this year, we are going to talk about what it means to be shaped like Jesus in our identity, our mission, and our practice. We’re going to start the year talking about those very practices. There ARE things that we can do, there ARE practices in which we can engage, which will cause a big spiritual growth spurt! We’re going to talk about these four practices that allow us to grow in Christ RAPIDLY: Holy Hardship, Daily Liturgy, Generous Stewardship, and Mission-Focused Friendship. I am firmly convinced that when we choose to engage in these practices, it will create a dramatic growth spurt in our spiritual lives. Are you ready to start growing? Let’s get after it.
