Brown Bag Lunch with Pastor Casey

Pastor Casey will wrap up the Origin Story series next Sunday, August 16. After second service, you’re invited to bring your lunch and the questions you have from the series, and join Pastor Casey in Fellowship Hall, where he will answer questions and clarify what we’ve learned about our Origin Story.

Women’s Ministry Event - Kiosk

On Friday, August 21, at 6 p.m. in the Family Room, Brianna Lambert will speak on her new book, Created to Play. God created everyone to play as well as enjoy and relax in that play. See “play” differently based on the talents given to each of us by God. Brianna will also talk about the four lies we believe about play. Register for this event at the kiosk in the Foyer.

20/20/20

Join us next Sunday evening, August 16, at 5:45 p.m. in the Chapel for 20/20/20 - 20 minutes of teaching, 20 minutes of worship, and 20 minutes of prayer. Enter at door #16. Kids are welcome, as this can be a very intentional time of family faith formation.

Operation Christmas Child Item Collection

Receiving a pencil in a shoebox could help a student stay in school! Please continue shopping for school supplies and other shoebox items this month. New items can be placed in the DropZone bin in the Foyer. For questions or more information, please contact Judy Heuss at 317-702-0508.

Bible Collection to Spread the Gospel

Chapel Rock is partnering with Bible Runners to get Bibles into the people's hands and the Gospel of Jesus into their hearts. Donate a Bible or Bibles (in any condition) by leaving them in the DropZone bin in the Foyer. To help cover shipping costs, please place a $1 bill as an easily-seen bookmark in each Bible. Next Sunday, August 16 is the last day to donate Bibles.

Food Pantry Requests

Chapel Rock Food Pantry operates on the first and third Thursdays  monthly. Gifts of non-perishable food as well as monetary are essential. Place food donations in the DropZone bin in the Foyer. To volunteer, contact Cindy West at 215-570-8578.

Homeless Ministry

The Homeless Ministry travels downtown to minister to those in need once a month. Items needed are towels (bath, hand, washcloth), blankets, baby wipes, and hygiene items. All donations can be placed in the Drop Zone bin in the Foyer.
