Welcome to the Rock / Wired — Zoom Sessions

New to Chapel Rock or interested in placing membership? This online class is a great opportunity for you to get to know us, and the ways we help you get connected into community life. Come learn about the habits of wholeness, discover your spiritual gifts and temperaments, and how you can apply those gifts to ministry opportunities as a way of sharing who you are with others. For the summer, we are combining these events into two Zoom classes which will be on Wednesday, June 23 and 30, from 6:30 — 8:30 pm. The event is limited to 14, so register soon by going to or call the church office at 317-247-9739.

First Place for Health

A new First Place for Health class begins Sunday, June 27, at 9:15 am. For more information or to sign up for the class, go to the kiosk in the Foyer.

A Call to Purity — C2P

Men, come learn how God’s men can bring help and healing to a sex saturated culture, and gain victory and secure protection for our wives and children in this battlefield for our minds. Pastor Casey Scott will bring an opening statement and pray with us to start our time together. Refreshments provided during pre-planned breaks. Please consider joining us in this round table discussion on Saturday, July 10, from 9 am— 12 pm in the Family Room. Enter at door #12. Register at or in the Foyer.

Wild Wednesdays for Families

This summer, families will have the opportunity to hike the trails of Eagle Creek Park. Upcoming dates (weather permitting) are:

June 16 — Edesess Trail

July 7 — Blue Trail

July 14 — Red Trail (SW)

July 21 — Red Trail (NE)

July 28 — Red Trail (SE)

Needs for Homeless Camps

For the summer season, please consider donating small flashlights, disposable razors, candles, baby wipes, and blankets. The Man-Up men’s group can use some help with items for their trips to the homeless camps. Items may be placed in the DropZone bin located in the Foyer.

Operation Christmas Child

A clean washcloth!  A new toothbrush!  Children will love these in their OCC shoeboxes this year!  Additionally, small sewing kits and tool kits are a great gift idea.  Keep your eyes open for sales and bring them to the Drop Zone this month. Thanks!

Chapel Rockets Events

Walk and Talk in Connection Corner is Wednesday, June 30, at 1 pm.

Bottles for Babies Campaign

Our campaign wraps up next Sunday, June 20. Please return baby bottles by that day. Fill a baby bottle to help support Life Centers or give by texting from your smart phone. Text “@LC” to 52014.

Thank You

Joyce Nelson would like to thank everyone who sent her a birthday card, text, or called her. She really enjoyed reading the cards and seeing who they were from. A heart-felt thank you to each one of you!
