Welcome to the Rock
Join us for lunch and conversation time for those interested in finding out more about Chapel Rock. This is a chance to meet some of our leaders and Lead Pastor Casey Scott and listen as he shares the vision for our church and our community on Sunday, September 26, at 12:30 pm in FH 14. Register online at chapelrock.org/events or call the church office 317- 247-9739 and we will be happy to get you registered.
Fall Shopping Trip
Ladies, come join us for some fun, fellowship, and shopping at The Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass in Simpsonville, Kentucky, on Saturday October 23. Sign-ups will be October 3, 10, and 17 at the Women’s Ministry kiosk in the Foyer. Cost will be $10, and seating is limited. Contact Pam Mann 317-442-7420 or Jan Brown 317-523-5488 for more information.
Before you were even born, God knew you! He “wired” you just the right way so you would have the right stuff to do the things He planned for you to do. Wired is a class designed to help you find your place at Chapel Rock. You will learn about the habits of wholeness, discover your spiritual gifts and temperament, and be able to apply those gifts to ministry opportunities as a way of sharing who you are with others. Please note, this is a 4-week class and to get the fullest benefit from it, we ask that you attend a minimum of 3 out of the 4 weeks to be considered complete.
Wired begins Sunday, October 3, at 11 am in FH 15 for 4 consecutive Sundays.
Learn more and register at chapelrock.org/wired.
Chapel Rockets Walk and Talk
Walk and Talk will be Wednesday, September 29, at 1 pm in Connection Corner.
Operation Christmas Child
More now than ever, children need the hope found in Jesus! When you help supply items in the month of September, you help fill shoeboxes so children can receive a Christmas gift AND learn about God's love. PlayDoh, soccer balls with pumps, stuffed animals, are all great gift items. Also, bar soap, coloring books, are all needed at this time. Thank you!
Please consider donating small flashlights, bug repellent, bath towels, toilet paper, candles, baby wipes, AA batteries, and blankets. The Man Up men's group can use some help with items for their trips to the homeless camps. Items may be placed in the DropZone bin located in the Foyer.
Chapel Rock Missions
The CRCC outreach to international students at IUPUI is always in need of good, used furniture. Our friend, Gabe Ramirez, uses the furniture to create relationships with these students so that he can share the gospel with them. If you have furniture to donate, please call Rick Belcher to make arrangements for pick up: 317-850-7936.
Food Pantry September Requests
Chapel Rock’s Food Pantry operates on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays, from 3 — 6 pm each month. The Chapel Rock Food Pantry needs plastic grocery bags that we use for combining drinks and assorted package meats. Other items needed are pet food, toothpaste and toothbrushes, shampoo and conditioner, diapers, soap, and breakfast items. Please place your donations in the DropZone bin in the Foyer.
